What happens when you put incredible students, educators, and industry leaders in the same room? Something pretty special.
Our 2026 Fall Kickoff was an incredible night, and we’re so excited to share a little of what made it so memorable. One of the biggest highlights was watching the students from the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Redlands-Riverside and Yucaipa High School Engineering Academy step up to help us document the event LIVE.
These students weren’t just there to watch. They were behind the cameras, helping with the livestream, participating in the podcast, interviewing guests, and jumping in wherever they were needed. And honestly, they blew us away.
Their professionalism, confidence, creativity, and ability to work together made it feel like we were working with a team of seasoned professionals. We couldn’t be more proud of them!
We also want to give a huge shoutout to all of the students and programs who came out, participated, and showed off the incredible work happening in their communities:
- Options for All
- Crafton Hills College
- Porterville Unified School District
- Fontana High School
- Boys & Girls Club of Greater Redlands-Riverside
- Mt. San Jacinto Community College
- Green Tree East Leadership Academy
- Melva Davis Academy
- Yucaipa High School Engineering Academy
And we couldn’t let the night go by without thanking the incredible partners who took the stage and shared their time, stories, and support with us: Ted Alejandre, Cali Binx, Tonya Whiteside, Scott Wyatt, Lisa Simone, Boys & Girls Club of Greater Redlands-Riverside, and Cammy Neth.
Our work at Garner Holt Education Through Imagination is only possible because of the people and organizations willing to take the stage with us, open doors for students, share their expertise, and imagine what’s possible together.
To all of our partners, educators, students, and supporters:
Thank you for helping us make another successful year happen!

“The Garner Holt field trip was the ultimate demonstration of what S.T.E.A.M. is supposed to be about. If more schools and districts could see how multiple disciplines interrelate in the real world, perhaps then we could change the way education is being delivered to our students for the better.”
